Inbound Insider Steps to Success (abridged)

We frequently hear from our DMO and supplier members that they need help building their international business and working with U.S.-based inbound operators, particularly as inbound operator business models are evolving in this dynamic industry sector.

Similarly, the number-one request we hear from inbound operators is for IITA to educate tourism suppliers and DMOs on how to effectively work with them. Inbound operators tell us one of their most challenging business issues is working with destinations and suppliers that don’t understand their business nor the significant role they play in the distribution system to grow international marketshare.

This year IITA launching a new education program to train DMOs and their suppliers on how to work with inbound operators and grow their international business. Our Inbound Insider Steps to Success education program is presented by ALON Marketing Group, the country’s leading training and inbound marketing firm. ALON has successfully helped destinations develop their B2B international inbound tourism strategies for 20-plus years, including design of the successful NYC & Company’s Tourism Ready program.
